GoldFish.Net requires the following:

1. Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows 2003, or Windows Vista
2. Microsoft .Net framework 2.0 available for download here
3. Oracle Desktop Client version 8 or greater (if you are using GoldFish.Net 1.9 or higher you can use the TCP Connection without having to install the Oracle Client)
4. At least 128 MB of RAM is recommended
5. A VGA monitor with a resolution of 1024x768 is recommended
6. Requires Approx. 30 MB of disk space

GoldFish publishes a point release at least every quarter.  A major release is done twice a year.

Beta releases containing functionality currently in development are released frequently.

GoldFish.Net supports the major Oracle server versions: 8.0.6, 8.1.7, 9i, 9r2, 10g, and 11g.

The Oracle client is required to use some of the features within GoldFish.Net.  Starting with GoldFish.Net version 1.9 you no longer need the Oracle client installed on your desktop if you use the TCP Direct connection option.

Microsoft Excel is not required by GoldFish.Net's import or export functionality.

You will need Microsoft Excel to view your data after the export has been completed.
